Career

Robert is an experienced antitrust attorney and a 10+ year veteran of elite global law firms where his practice has focused on antitrust & competition law. More on that work can be found on his LinkedIn.

Education

Robert is a graduate of Rice University1 and NYU School of Law. At Rice, Robert earned his BA in Political Science and Policy Studies with concentrations in American Politics and Economic Policy, respectively, and received a number of honors2 including First Place at the Rice Undergraduate Research Symposium for groundbreaking mass evacuation policy research. A few years later—and after a short time exploring a PhD and serving as full-time policy research staff at a university thank tank—Robert earned his JD from NYU School of Law. At NYU Robert was fortunate to work for, and learn from, Judge Lee Rosenthal (as a judicial intern) and Prof. Bernice Grant (as a Teaching Assistant for NYU’s Legal Research & Writing course), and he served in a number of leadership positions.3 He is an active member of national & regional alumni associations for both Rice and NYU Law.

Travel

An avid explorer, Robert’s travels have taken him around the globe. By the age of 30, he had climbed to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro (reaching the summit at 19,341 ft) and explored the depths of the Blue Hole in Belize (down to 140 ft below sea level). Robert has been fortunate to explore 50+ countries so far. As an Eagle Scout, you can find him outdoors most weekends.

Coder

Robert taught himself to code at a young age and he is passionate about technology. A few weeks in to his first computer science class in high school, he immediately skipped three levels to a college level course (which he aced). He is proficient in more than a dozen programming languages.
